My new blogger BFF is Seree at http://www.awkwardcelebrity.com. She came to visit The Fab Girls yesterday with lots of lovely compliments about the blog and she also subscribed! (And you should, too!)
Anyway, I was all up on her blog when I saw this delightful post/tutorial about makeup for glasses. My own little FAB Girl wears glasses and wants to make her eyes pop, and I figured other FAB Girls probably do, too. Hit the jump for the post Seree was kind enough to let me share with you!
Do you have great style? Have you documented your entire wardrobe on Facebook? We are looking for FAB Fashionistas ages 16-25 to share their favorite looks!
My sorority sister Apris was kind enough to set the example with this fun look that’s great for a number of occasions; a movie date, dinner with the girls, or even around campus if you’re in the mood to be extra cute.
Her top is from Forever 21, pants from Arden B., and she sells necklaces like the one she’s wearing on Etsy.
If you would like to possibly be one of our FAB Fashionistas, hit the jump to find out how!
Keisha Knight Pulliam turned up at the Atlanta premiere of ‘Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man’ in this interesting ensemble. While it’s certainly chic and unique, (I’m a rapper, y’all!), is it right for a movie premiere?
Especially when you see this:
Now mind you, Keisha is not a star of the film so she could be a little more casual. But, something about her look just doesn’t seem done to me. I think the top being tied that way is what is off to me. It seems kinda random. But as usual, this isn’t about what I think. What do you think, FAB Ones?
Our next FAB Beauty is Autumn, who is also wearing a beautiful natural makeup look. (Check out another one here.) I can’t think of any occasion this look isn’t right for, because again she is simply enhancing her features without the makeup taking over.
Her complexion is on the darker end of the makeup spectrum, which can make finding the perfect foundation difficult due to a lack of range, but she has done it! Her skin looks absolutely flawless, and you can get this FAB look by checking out the products she used after the jump.(Plus more shots of our model!)
While visiting one of my favorite sites, thefashionbombdaily.com, I stumbled upon one of my favorite reality stars, Lala. She was wearing a dress from K-Mart that costs $17.50, which confirms my theory that she is as down to earth as she seems. Now she did pair it with a pair of Christian Louboutin sandals that cost enough to buy one of these dresses for 56 people ($995), but it’s still refreshing to see a star in a piece that we can all afford.
You can purchase it at kmart.com, along with this:
FAB Musician Beyonce was spotted on the streets of New York in this high end, hippie chic ensemble. Before the stans come out and bite my head off, I want you to know I love Beyonce! However, I think Solange does a better job with the whole high bohemian luxury style. But of course, this is not about me. What do you think?
I asked Keisha Ervin to do a guest beauty post for The Fab Girls because she always has really beautiful makeup looks on her Facebook page that are up-to-the-minute, like this hot pink lip. In addition to being a best selling author, she has her own blog, http://www.bowtiesandbarrettes.blogspot.com/ which features beauty, fashion and other fun stuff. Right now, she has a post about outline manicures that I am obsessed with! Continue to see what products she used to create this look, which would be a good look to keep in mind for prom.
